Chocolate Banana Smoothie

I am not a morning person.  Well, actually I think it’s more that I hate waking up in the morning, but once I do, I am super productive and love it.  Still, I am queen of the snooze button.  So, naturally, on work mornings I am rushing around and rarely have time to do anything other than grab something to eat while running out the door.  When Annie shared these yummy smoothies, I knew I could squeeze in the extra 5 minutes to whip it together.  I am a big fan of the frozen banana in a smoothie and can’t wait to try more variations.

I highly reccommend adding this quick, easy and healthy smoothie to your breakfast rotation!

you will need:
1 banana, frozen
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
½ cup plain greek yogurt
1 tablespoon flax seed, ground
¼ skim milk, plus a little extra if needed

Toss all of the ingredients in blender and process until smooth.  If necessary, drizzle in a little more milk to reach desired consistency.

serves: 1
time: 5 minutes
