I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and give you a quick update on what’s happening in the kitchen for my favorite holiday!
I’m so lucky to have married into a wonderful family, I truly feel right at home with them. This year, I am spending the whole day with almost 25 members of the family, which is awesome. I seized this opportunity to bake like a mad woman, since there are so many mouths to satisfy! Here’s what’s going on in my kitchen right now…
Cranberry Cheesecake (recipe to follow soon)
Martha’s Pumpkin Pie
Martha’s Pecan Pie
Sweet Potato and Honey Dinner Rolls
Cranberry Buttermilk Biscuits
Cranberry Salsa
Think I’m digging’ cranberries?? The answer, my friends, is YES…I stocked up at Trader Joe’s, at 8am before work, just to be sure they didn’t run out. Also you can see that half of my recipes come courtesy of Jessica from How Sweet It Is. If you are wondering…she is my new favorite imaginary blogger friend, I’m a little obsessed (in a totally non-creepy way, I swear). I laugh out loud every morning when I read her posts and I find her philosophy of life and cooking refreshing. If you haven’t heard of her yet, check out her blog NOW, you will love it. We live in the same city, so I’m hoping one day to make a huge mess in the kitchen together while baking and talking about beauty products and high heels…
I feel so happy and thankful for all of the wonderful people and blessings I have in my life…this holiday just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!

Thanks to all you for reading and finding anything I have to say interesting/funny/useful! Enjoy your Turkey Day…and be careful not to get trampled if you are braving the Black Friday crowds…stay safe kids!
