Good Eats: Kassab’s

I’m just about to run out the door to head to Maryland for wedding of one of my college girlfriends.  I love weddings, they just make me happy.  So I’ll leave you with a yummy restaurant suggestion for the weekend.

Kassab’s is a Pittsburgh fave for Middle Eastern eats.  It’s in the South Side on Carson Street, between 12th and 13th.

It’s SO GOOD and cheap!  Go eat there.  I’m pretty sure everything on the menu is fantastic, though I highly suggest getting the shawarma sandwich.  I dream about it…for serious.
I went for lunch one day and decided I needed to go back for dinner and take a group so I could snag cheater bites of what everyone ordered.  Good plan, right?

Have I convinced you to go yet?  If not, check out more reviews here and here.  Also, they kill it on Urbanspoon with 92% saying thumbs up.

Have a good weekend, and I’ll be back next week with some great posts!
