Honey Banana Smoothie

Tracey at Shutterbean has all sorts of yummy smoothies and milkshakes on her blog.  I want to make all of them…the same day.  Then I stop and realize that would be excessive.  This honey banana flavor is yummy and light…not too sweet, but just right.  And using greek yogurt gives it a protein punch to keep you full for the morning.  I always add a teaspoon of ground flax seed to my smoothies to give an extra fiber boost to fill me up more.

you will need:
1 cup plain (or vanilla or honey, if your feeling daring) greek yogurt
1 frozen banana
1 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon ground flax seed
pinch of nutmeg for garnish

Put the yogurt, banana, OJ, honey and flax seed into a blender.  Mix until smooth.  Pour into glasses, garnish with nutmeg and drink!  Easy peasy!
