{Partying Pretty} Elegant Outdoor Couples Shower

Two weekends ago we were in Atlanta for my lovely cousin’s couples wedding shower.  I am lucky enough to be a bridesmaid in her wedding (coming up on 9/29) so I got to help a bit and partake in the celebrating.  It was so pretty, I just had to share some photos and details with you all!

My aunt and a few of her girlfriends handled the decor, and I must say, they did an amazing job!  Crisp white tablecloths were adorned with moss, burlap, mercury glass votives, ferns and lilies of the valley. It went with the understated elegance theme of the wedding.

It was absolutely lovely.  Look at the rosemary sprig in the utensil roll (that was my job!) and the little love birds in the fern!
All of the food was made by family and friends.  We had passed h’ordeuvres of tuna tartare, caviar and goat cheese bruschetta (fancy y’all).  The main course offerings included smoked salmon, turkey breast, beef, and a variety of salads and antipasti options.

The crowd of almost 60 enjoyed the gorgeous backyard oasis, mingling, sipping and eating.
It was even more beautiful after dark, when the twinkle lights came on!

It was a wonderful celebration for a beautiful couple.
Can’t wait for the wedding weekend!
