Peach Banana Smoothie

In an effort to spice up my breakfast routine, I’ve been stocking items to make smoothies in the morning.  About a month ago, I discovered Annie’s chocolate banana smoothie and swooned.  The frozen banana trick is pretty awesome.  I needed an alternative to the chocolate banana flavor, and have had a constant stock of juicy peaches in the house, so I just replaced the chocolate with the peaches.  I was pleased with the result!

you will need:
1 banana, frozen
2 ripe peaches, peeled & sliced
½ cup plain greek yogurt
¼ cup skim milk, plus a little extra
1 tablespoon ground flax seed (optional)
a few raspberries for garnish (optional)

Toss all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.  If necessary, drizzle in a bit more milk to reach desired consistency.

I have a few more flavors I’m experimenting with, so stay tuned!

time: 5 minutes
